My name is Petrus Pelser.
I live in Cape Town, South Africa where I am working for a software development company named Codewave.
I have been programming in various languages for approximately the last 10 years. I worked as a programming instructor for a while and was also involved in courseware development before I started working as a full time Java developer.

I also live in Cape Town now, having spent many years in Johannesburg. I’ve been programming in various languages for more years than I like to think about. My first language was BASIC on a Commodore 64, which should give you an idea of how many years I’m talking about 
For the last 10 years or so I’ve mostly been programming in Java.
